Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Dhahran. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure targets are met with optimal efficiency and minimal waste.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to maintain process stability and product quality.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management standards, ensuring all processes comply with established procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Manage and optimize distillation and polymerization processes to enhance yield and product consistency.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and engineering departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit production reports, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations to senior management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a petrochemical or manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in process engineering, particularly in distillation and polymerization processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and advanced process control methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and process improvement methodologies.
- Valid Saudi GOSI registration and compliance with Saudi labor regulations.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential for effective communication and documentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance in a multicultural setting.
